Theory Of Hummingbirds

The main characters are Levi and Alba and it’s about 2 best friends. Alba had a sore leg and had a nickname called Cleo since the name of her leg was too long. Alba was thought of entering the cross country race but didn’t have the chance because of her leg.
The setting was in school and they had class. While it was morning tea the teacher went missing and wasn’t anywhere. Levi predicted that she went into a wormhole. But then out of nowhere they saw the teacher smiling at them as if nothing happened.
After school, Alba went to take a bus to go home and often lies about her foot. So this lady came up to her and asked about her leg but then Alba said it was a skydiving incident. The lady squinted as if she knew she was lying.
Then Alba thought about the race again and she badly wanted to enter the race. So she exercised EVERYDAY so she can take off her cast early. Alba didn’t give up and then she was able to race said by the doctor.
When it was that day to race, she took all her strength to run. At the end of the race, she didn’t place but a girl named Miranda had kindness herself and gave her the medal.
In my opinion, I think this story is showing a message to others. No matter how hard it is you should always still try and especially if you love doing that thing you like. So never give up.
