Congratulations on completing another SLJ related activity. Well done for highlighting what the WWF are doing to save the Freshwater Seals. You're right, the WWF are building snowbanks which allow the Freshwater Seals to bury into, so that they can give birth to their pups in a safe place, Isn't that great? Why do you think it is so important to build these snow banks? What dangers come from Freshwater Seals giving birth to their pups on the open ice? I enjoy hearing that you think this is a really clever plan. Can you tell me whether the WWF have had any success in protecting the Freshwater Seals by building these snowbanks?
