I am a Year 7 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Great job at completing another SLJ activity! I really enjoy the questions you have come up with. In regards to your first question, I also wonder what inspired Sir Edmund Hillary to climb the the tallest mountain in the world. Did you know Sir Edmund Hillary was only 33 years old when he climbed to the top of Mount Everest? I bet his family were very proud of him for his life achievements. Isn't it cool that your school is named after him, do you know why that is?
