I am a Year 7 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Well done for having a go at this activity, 'Living on the Edge' and for attempting to write a letter to your friend, Emora, about the Tundra. I was very interested in this letter until I came across what looks to me to be what we call 'plagiarism'— this is when we copy words in their exact order from the internet and fail to acknowledge that we have done so. It is SO important that you write responses to the SLJ activities in your own words. This shows your readers that you've engaged with the activity and that you fully understand what it is you are talking about.
I'd like you to edit this post and give it another go— in your own words. I'm sure you have plenty of interesting things to tell your friend about the Tundra.
